4th Saturday Meal Volunteers | Although Micah clients cannot gather for a large community meal like we normally serve each month, Micah is still committed to providing healthy meals each day – delivered to the motels where clients are being temporarily housed during the pandemic. They have asked us to cover our usual day, the 4th Saturday of the month, throughout the summer. So, what does serving this meal look like in the time of COVID-19? Different, that is for sure! We need a team of four to six people to meet at 2:00 PM at Ebenezer to prepare the food (the usual menu of chicken, potatoes, green beans, etc.) in the main kitchen. The second team of volunteers (six people, two per car) will pick up the individually packaged meals at 4:00 PM and deliver them to the three local motels at 5:00 PM. A list of clients will be provided and a Micah staff member will let them expect us. |
Fredericksburg Regional SPCA | The Fredericksburg Regional SPCA is a non-profit animal resource center that not only provides service for the animals within our community but also the people as well. If we have an overabundance of donations we will send them to other animal rescues who may need it as well.

We also have a donation wishlist on amazon that lists the items we need most. We accept everything from: New to opened bags of dog/cat food, wet food, peanut butter, canned chicken, puppy/kitten formula, heating disks, bottles for the neonatal animals, new and used linens, office supplies, trash bags, and really anything you can think of we will take. Rappahannock Aviation Outreach, Inc. | We are a 501c3 with an all-volunteer board of directors focused on raising funds to build an outdoor play and learn facility at Stafford Regional Airport. The airport is located in central Stafford County. It is open to the public for enjoyment and this picnic and play area amenity can add a unique open space for children and families to recreate in Stafford. Stafford County currently has just a handful of publicly available playgrounds for its residents. All funds raised will go to promote and build the "Outdoor Center for Aviation Education". This "Outdoor Center" will feature a covered picnic shade pavilion with tables, miniature 'runway' and 'taxiway' paths, for imagined takeoffs and landings, multiple aviation-themed climbing structures of various types, viewing scopes, outdoor speakers broadcasting the pilot radio frequency of the airport, and interactive educational signage that conveys science and history of aviation.

Donors can also mail donations or contact us directly by the email or phone. All donations are tax deductible.

In addition to the Silent Auction items, we are looking for roll vinyl flooring remnants that we can piece together for an outdoor dance floor. In addition we are looking for several public speakers who would be willing to donate their crowd draw capabilities for a 'Winter Speaker Series' fundraising effort.

Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assult | At RCASA, we believe that every survivor – no matter their gender, age, race, religion, income, ability, ethnicity, or sexual orientation – deserves support. Ultimately, sexual violence is about an offender exerting power and control over someone else; it is never a survivor's fault. There are short- and long-term effects of sexual violence, and typically, recovery is not linear. No matter where you are, or where your loved one is, in the process, RCASA is here to help. By connecting clients to community resources, we help to ensure continuity of care and a successful healing process. Our goal is for every survivor to receive the support they deserve, both in the immediate crisis and in the long-term.
