  • Spend Spring Break with our Nature Programs! 

Throughout the week of March 15-19, there will be two programs a day all about different nature topics. Dress for the weather and the outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the park between programs. All children must be accompanied by a non-paying adult (no unregistered siblings, please). For ages 5-12. Pre-registration is required. $6/program or $55/all ten. Please see all topics and times available on our website.

 

  • Camp Spirit

Children 8 years and older are invited to join us for a fun spring beak week!  Campers will enjoy outside activities and games.  The camp is designed for children and young adults diagnosed with an intellectual disability and/or an Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Instructor: Jim Garrett Location: Alum Spring Park. Held the week of Monday-Friday, March 15-19 from 9:00am-2:00pm; $50/$60 (residents/non-residents)

 

  • Spring Break STEM Camp- Technology, Robotics and Code Design

6-12 year olds will explore how technology automation is used to solve common problems and how computer and software programming, encryption, and big data play a role in the products we love. Campers will dig deep into the relationship between tech and data, robotics and automation, and the latest innovations in augmented reality. Campers will work in groups to come up with innovations of their own. This week is all about uncovering the data behind the products and mobile apps we love!  Includes: Robots Everywhere STEM Box, Camp T-shirt, snacks, and book. Held Monday-Thursday, March 15-18, 1:30pm-4:30pm at the Dorothy Hart Community Center. Fee: $110 per session, Pre-registration is required.

 

  • Spring Break STEM Camp- 3D DIY House/Dollhouse Camp

6-12 year olds will explore engineering design, creativity, and architecture.  This camp will inspire crafters to pick up cardboard, scissors, paint, and glue and get to work on their own miniature house.  Using everyday materials, young innovative architects will build and decorate a toy to take home.  Includes: Electricity STEM Box, Camp T-shirt, snacks, and book.  Held Monday-Thursday, March 12-14, 9:30am-12:30pm at the Dorothy Hart Community Center. Fee: $110 per session, Pre-registration is required.

Little Fish Swimming




REFRESH YOUR SKILLS BEFORE SUMMER with Spring Break Swim Camp. This is a fast-paced learn to swim environment that will take place the week that Spotsylvania/Stafford County schools are out. This session will be Monday – Friday for a total of 5 lessons. All lessons will be 30 minutes long. Lesson times will either be between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM or between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
