Description
Each year our fellowship blesses the local homeless community by hosting a Thanksgiving Banquet at Mars Hill in Downtown Fredericksburg. Due to the current pandemic, this annual outreach will look a bit different this year. We will not offer a sit down meal as our venue does not offer the space for social distancing. We will also not hand out hygiene packs this year. Instead, we will provide a complete "to-go" Thanksgiving boxed dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
We will meet at Mars Hill on Princess Anne Street at 10:00am on Thanksgiving Day to collect hot foods and to assemble the boxed dinners. The dinners will be handed out between 11:30am-1:00pm from the Mars Hill doors.
We are asking our CCFred family to prayerfully consider donating one or more of the following items for our boxed dinners:
• Turkeys
• Mashed Potatoes
• Green Beans
• Stuffing
• Rolls
• Desserts
Food Sign Ups will be available in the Fellowship Hall following Sunday services.
