This year the field trip is coming to you! Many of your favorite educators will be presenting! Nature's Educators, Native American Dancing, Fur Trapping, Blacksmithing, Colorado Railroad Museum, historical actors, and more!
This presentation will stream two days, with both days repeating the lineup so you can choose the best day for your family or classroom to participate!
Tentative Schedule of Events (subject to change)
- 10:00 AM – Welcome and Introduction
- 10:15 AM – Live: Nature's Educators Birds of Prey Demonstration
- 10:45 AM – Trapper Johnny: Fur Trapping Presentation
- 11:00 AM – Live: Blacksmith Demonstration and Q&A
- 11:30 AM – Native American Dancing
- 12:00 PM – Lunch Break
- 12:45 PM – Highlands Ranch Mansion Tour
- 1:00 PM – Colorado Railroad Museum and Q&A with an Engineer
- 1:30 PM – Highlands Ranch Backcountry Wilderness Area Presentation
- 1:45 PM – Make Cornhusk Dolls (Buy cornhusks at your local market to participate at home!)
- 2:15 PM – Historical Actors
