Description
As the holiday frenzy subsides, gather your family and friends and visit Montpelier. Between December 26 and January 1, all kids ages 14 and under get free admission for any House tour.
The free tours make for an affordable and enriching winter experience. Admission to the House includes the opportunity to explore the exhibition "The Mere Distinction of Colour" and join "Montpelier's Enslaved Community" walking tour. Montpelier also will be offering its “Discovering Montpelier: A Family Friendly Tour,” an interactive experience for families that involves discovering artifacts and documents, participating in kid-friendly activities, and touring the House and its surroundings.
Kids will love our "Mysteries of Montpelier" exhibition in the Visitor Center, where they can create their own miniature museum displays, touch artifacts from the property, and take a picture at a selfie station!
Purchase your tickets online and receive $2 off each ticket!
