Description
Transitioning any child into adulthood is difficult but there are special considerations for parents of children with special needs. Join the Rappahannock Area Autism Council as Kim Lett, disAbility Resource Center's Program Director and Deputy Director and RAAC's Legislation Chairperson, addresses some of these considerations and answers questions. Lunch and Learn Sessions are held on the 4th Thursday of each month from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m with a presentation/discussion of rotating topics. Presentations are followed by a question and answer session on the monthly topic and time permitting attendees will also be given the opportunity to ask questions of RAAC Council Members on topics relating to autism and local services and supports.
