Free MLB Pitch Hit & Run returns to Virginia Credit Union Stadium on June 14.
Pitch, Hit & Run—Major League Baseball’s free event for boys and girls ages 7-14—will be held at the Fredericksburg Nationals ballpark on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Area baseball and softball players may come anytime during the competition to show off their skills on the field at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, 42 Jackie Robinson Way in Fredericksburg. A birth certificate or other proof of age is required at check-in.
PH&R participants are divided into four age groups and will pitch to a strike zone target, hit off a batting T for distance and run their fastest to first base.
Age-group winners may earn the chance to compete at Washington Nationals Park this summer and ultimately at the MLB World Series. For general information, go to
