🛒 Shopping Tips
- Use coupons! If the final sale price is under the limit, it qualifies.
- Shop online! Orders placed during the tax-free weekend count—even if they’re delivered later.
- Set a budget with the kids and let them help shop for supplies—it’s a great lesson in math and decision-making.
- Bring snacks and patience if you’re heading out in person. It can get busy!
Between long school supply lists, growing feet, and the joys of homeownership, we all know August can be expensive. Virginia’s tax-free weekend helps lighten the load and makes it easier to stock up on essentials without the added sales tax!
