This year, Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. However, you can vote earlier if you'd like. As a matter of fact, you can vote anytime between now and Election Day.

Get Registered or Update Information:
If you have not registered to vote, or need to check your voter status, you can visit the Department of Elections website.
- Tuesday, October 15, 2024: The deadline to register to vote or update your registration. You can register to vote online, in person at your local registrar, or at your local Department of Motor Vehicles office.
We are lucky enough to have multiple options to allow us to submit our vote. Voting Options include:

1. Early In-Person Voting
Visit your local registrar's office up to 45 days before election day to vote. This year you can start voting in person on September 20, 2024. You do not have to have a reason to vote early. You will need an acceptable form of ID. Accessible equipment and/or curbside voting is available upon request, however is highly recommended that you call ahead of time to set this up. 2. Vote Absentee by Mail
Fill out the form online here or print out a paper form to fill out by hand and mail it in here. Ballots submitted by mail must be postmarked on or before election Day and must be received by your registrar no later than noon on the third day after the election.
- October 25, 2024: The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail.
*Note: In state and local elections, first-time voters cannot vote absentee by mail unless they meet certain eligibility requirements. Check with your local General Registrar to confirm your eligibility.

3. Military:
If you are an absent military or overseas citizen eligible to vote in state and local elections, you may register to vote and submit an absentee ballot application electronically for a specific election or any elections up through the next year using the Department of Elections Voter Portal. If you are Military or Overseas, please view special information here.

4. Vote in person:
- You can vote early on Saturday, October 5, and Saturday, November 2nd
- You can vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm at your polling place.
