100 Days of School is a big celebration at many schools! It signifies that the school year is more than halfway completed and it's a great way to work fun math into the school day. Here are a few ideas on how to celebrate:

1) Dress Like You're 100.
Grab your cane, sweater, and Bingo card. It's time to dress to impress! (If parents or grandparents don't have anything to loan, a thrift store is a great way to dress up on a budget)

2) Use an "age me" app to see what you'll look like at 100!
Extrapolate is a free online resource that will use a current photo and age it up to 90 years in the future. There are also other apps that you may find that can do the same.

3) Make a Fun Shirt!
There are so many fun ways to show your 100 days. Iron on words, sew on buttons, glue on puzzle pieces or find a local business to make you one!

4) Make a poster
Use 100 items, like these straws, to create a picture, or write out 100 with 100 items, like these googly eyes. Maybe you have 100 favorite stickers or you could paint 100 stars in the sky. Get creative and have fun with it!

5) 100-piece puzzle
Putting together 100 pieces can be quite an accomplishment and a fun way to celebrate the day.

5) 100 items
It's fun to compare what 100 looks like using different items or containers. 100 Marbles, pennies, beans, balls, or candy - which takes the most space? which is the heaviest? which leaves the most air in the jar? How many ways can you organize them using piles of even numbers? So many possibilities.

6) Food
Spell out 100 or count to 100 with food! (This is a great way to skip count too!)

7) 100 Scavenger Hunt
Wander around and list things that you find that have "100" on them. You'd be surprised what you can find!
No matter how you celebrate 100 days of school, take lots of pictures. They will be great fun to look at again and again through the years.
