Skip the summer slide and keep your children reading all summer! There is a FREE summer reading program that works for everyone. Fill out the form with books your child read and turn it in for freebies like a book, a personal pizza, arcade tokens, and more! (There is even one for adults at the CRRL) You can find a list here.

These movies are usually last year's movies that you may have missed, plus they have A/C and great snacks! You can find a list of movies here or on our Event Calendar.

6) Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Several local churches are hosting VBS this year. Some camps are during the day, while others are in the evening. Some of the evening camps also offer dinner prior to the event. Be sure to read the details because many of them require that you pre-register or get a free 'ticket' to attend. You can find a list of local VBS camps along with links to register here.

9) Free Little Lending Libraries
My children love books but they read them so quickly! Although we do go to the library to borrow books, my children get such a kick out of being about to pick a free book to take home. It also makes it easier for them to clean out their bookshelf because they know they can take the books they have outgrown and put them in Lending Libraries for other kids to find.
There are various local areas with Free Little Lending Libraries, you can find a list here.
