We all have those people in our lives that we would like to gift money to, but handing over bills in a card isn't exactly fun and exciting, not to mention it's a little predictable. We have come up with a few ideas on ways to give money in a fun way.

1) Create Cash Origami.
There are a variety of levels of origami, from very basic to incredible, and lots of videos to walk you through creating them. You can create something basic, like a little bow tie or a ring, and place it in a box that you can wrap, or create a beautiful bouquet of cash!

2) DIY Cash Ornament.
Grab a clear plastic ornament from your local craft store and put the money inside. Add a little holiday decoration with ribbon or some jingle bells.

3) Disguise it.
Put the money in a strange-shaped box to look like something else, or repurpose a box from another item. Just be careful that you aren't giving less money than the value of the item that should be in the box! You could also tuck it into something boring like a pair of socks.

4) Put it in a Wallet
There is an old wives tale that says it's bad luck to give an empty wallet, so why not gift your cash in a wallet? It doesn't have to be expensive, there are lots of cute and reasonably-priced wallets available.

5) Make Them Work For It
Pick up a money maze or other type of money puzzle from your local store or online and make them work for it a little bit!

6) Add a favorite Photo
Choose a favorite photo or phrase and frame it. Tape the money to the back of the photo. This makes a sweet and meaningful gift.

7) Make It Funny.
If the recipient is a jokester, have a little fun with it. Maybe you have a personal joke between you that you could use. If not, there are so many jokes about money. One of our favorites is a box of doughnuts with a note: What is a banker's favorite type of dessert? Doughnuts!
Whatever you do - have fun with it. You can never go wrong with the gift of cash!
