It's important to keep your kids reading this summer. We've put together a list of Local (and online) Summer Reading Programs to help you make it fun:
Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program
Print out your Summer Reading Journal here. Fill it out and take it to the store between July 1 and August 31, 2021 to get your free book!
Book It! is back at Pizza Hut. You can sign up using this link starting June 1, 2021. Digital certificates, both emailed and printed, can then be redeemed by parents for dine-in, carry-out or delivery and online. Children can earn free pizza just for reading!
Central Rappahannock Regional Library - Free Summer Reading Program
Sign up using this link. Starting June 1, 2021 kids can log reading minutes, complete activities, and review books to earn points for cool prizes. Earn milestone tags for different levels of points you earn--and a key chain to collect them on.
There are also Teen and Adult summer reading programs available!

Print your child's reading calendar here. Mark off every day that your child reads, then take the worksheet to CEC for 10 free play points.
HPB Summer Reading Camp
Half Price Books summer reading program can be found here. Kids read books and submit their minutes to earn prizes each month.
Scholastic Summer reading Promise
Sign up here. Kids can read books, attend weekly author events, interact with characters, play book-based games and activities, join dance parties, etc.
