5 Unexpected Ways to Use Your Air Fryer

Gimme some s'mores

I hate when things take up space on my counter. So much so that I don't even own a toaster or a toaster oven. However, I own a gigantic air fryer — and I leave it on my counter because it is hands down my favorite kitchen appliance.

Even over my coffee maker.

That is saying a lot.

Here are five of my family's favorite ways to use our air fryer:

1. Reheating pizza

Does anyone else hate reheating pizza in the microwave? It is just so soggy and ... limp. I used to swear by heating up my pizza in my oven. But then, I tried it in my air fryer and all bets were off. It is amazing, easy, and quick.

How to do it: 375 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes will do it!

2. Hard-boiled eggs

Hardboiling eggs in an air fryer was mind-blowing to me. No more waiting for the water to boil? Easy to peel eggs? Enough said.

How to do it: 6 eggs at 270 degrees for 15 minutes. When cooking time is up, immediately place in a bowl of ice water to cool. Then remove shells and enjoy!

3. Toasted ravioli

This has become a staple for lunches at our house, both at home or on the go. Simply spray the refrigerated ravioli with some oil, set your air fryer, and watch closely so they don't burn (this can happen quickly)!

How to do it: 375 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Watch it closely so it doesn't burn!

4. Chicken parmesan

I love this Chicken Milanese with Baby Arugula and lemon wedges recipe from Skinnytaste. I add some mozzarella and parmesan on top the last couple of minutes of cooking. Then I cover in my favorite sauce and enjoy!

5. Indoor s'mores!

Indoor s'mores are much fun and my boys love watching through the glass window on our air fryer as the marshmallows expand. Gather the usual ingredients, and get ready for a quick and fun snack!

How to do it: Place the graham cracker on the bottom of the air fryer and a marshmallow on top. Set the air fryer to 390 degrees and cook for 5 minutes until the marshmallows are browned. Top with chocolate and one more graham cracker. YUM!
