Spotsylvania County Visitors Center

Stop by the Visitor's Center and chat with the staff to get an overview of the County, information on local history and attractions. Grab some brochures and maps, pick up postcards and purchase tickets for tours and special events.

Spotsylvania County Museum

Spotsylvania County is known as "The Crossroads of the Civil War" and Spotsylvania Courthouse was right in the middle of the battle. 
Visit the Spotsylvania County Museum at its new location (The former Lick Run Community Center). The museum is located on eight-acres and includes hiking trails.



3.Spotsylvania Jail

4.Confederate Cemetery
0.7 mile past the Spotsylvania Battlefield tour road exit
 600 Confederate soldiers, killed on local battlefields during the Civil War, are laid to rest here.



5.Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center

Begin a driving tour at Grant's Headquarters and continue down the Confederate line.



7.One Room School House
8800 Courthouse Rd. Spotsylvania, VA 22553
The Fork School, a one-room schoolhouse built in the 1930s for African-American children has no plumbing or electricity.  It was originally built on Stubbs Bridge Road but was relocated to its current location at the Marshall Center.
