RECIPE: Hamburger Macaroni Goulash

This is a quick and easy meal to make that can last you the whole week! Its a great meal to make if you're in a rush to fix dinner and it tastes amazing too.

Ingredients 

  • 1lb lean ground beef 
  • 1 medium onion, chopped 
  • 1 ( 20 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce 
  • ¼ tsp. Garlic powder  
  • 1 tbl. Worchestire sauce 
  • 1 tbl. Ketchup 
  • 1 tbl Italian season 
  • 1 tsp. Sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Salt 
  • ¼ tsp. Black pepper 
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded 
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni 

Instructions: 

  1. First,preheat the oven to 350℉ in a large dutch oven, brown ground beef and drain. Saute the onion. Add spaghetti sauce. Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt and black pepper.
  2. Second, simmer covered on very low heat for 30 minutes. Boil elbow macaroni noodles in salted water until done, then drain noodles 
  3. Next, in a 9x9 casserole dish, layer noodles, sauce, and cheese. Repeat; ending with cheese on top. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until hot throughout and cheese is melted.
  4. Take out of the oven and serve!
