Macaroni Kid Fredericksburg wants to say THANK YOU to our local Walgreens for continuing to stay open so we can take care of our families! We, along with some neighbors, have created posters to show our appreciation.
Walgreens is a great place for over the counter medicines, band aids, ointments, toiletry items, vitamins, and a variety of other items. There have been many times I have stopped by Walgreens to grab some cereal, shampoo, batteries, and other essentials. I also like to go to Walgreens for unique gifts and candy during the holidays. And of course you know that Walgreens pharmacy is the place to go for your prescription needs, but did you know they also have “Easy Rx Delivery” so you don’t have to leave home to get your prescriptions?
Walgreens employees are always ready and willing to help. When my oldest finally got out of his cast we were told he needed an over the counter wrist brace for the first few weeks out of his cast. A quick call to Walgreens and a kind associate ran to the aisle to make sure they had what we needed and even held it at the counter for us so we could make our purchase and get home in time to meet the school bus!
Another time my daughter and I were headed to her dance recital and we swung by Walgreens to replace a broken hair tie and grab some show worthy lipstick! We were greeted at the door and when we explained what we needed someone went to find the hair ties while I looked for the correct shade of lipstick.
Walgreens Photo has also saved me quite a few times with fabulous photo gifts! Canvas, cards, mugs, calendars and of our prints for the grandparents! I order online and choose pick up or delivery. Are you a procrastinator? Many items are ready in an hour!
So a big Thank You to the Walgreens team of Pharmacists, cashiers, team members, warehouse workers, and everyone else who is keeping our local Walgreens stocked and open during COVID-19! We appreciate you!
