The Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors annual REALTOR ® cereal drive is in full swing with a goal of 18,500 boxes! From October 1 -25th they are collecting boxes of cereal OR a $2/box donation. We reached out to last year’s Grand Prize winner, 1st Choice Better Homes and Land, who will be participating in the event again this year. This is what they said:
“It’s the most wonderful time of year … yes, that’s right, it’s time for the annual Realtor Cereal Drive to benefit the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank. 1st Choice Better Homes and Land, LC has partnered with FAAR and other local real estate companies for the past 13+ years as they venture out together to collect as much cereal as possible to stock the Food Bank’s shelves. During this time, 1st Choice Better Homes and Land, LC Realtors and their clients have donated over 30,000 boxes of cereals – 5,019 boxes just last year! These donations help to feed out local food insecure population. We garner the support of local schools, clients and other businesses to continually surpass the previous year’s total. We are proud to be part of such a giving community!

This year Macaroni Kid Fredericksburg is joining 1st Choice Better Homes and Land, LC to help spread the word about this great cause! If you are able, please grab an extra box (or two) of cereal on your next trip to the store and drop it off at 1st Choice Better Homes and Land, LC, or any other participating Real Estate office and lets smash this 18,500 box goal!
