The Central Rappahannock Regional Library has a new branch in the Spotsylvania Towne Centre! The Towne Centre Branch is located just inside Spotsylvania Towne Centre across from the United States Postal Service. I stopped in for a visit on my latest trip to the Towne Centre to see for myself. The ladies at the branch were very friendly and the branch itself was well laid out and has a lot to offer.
Branch hours are 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. These later branch hours on Fridays and Saturdays are very exciting as the other branches close early those days of the week! This branch is a full service branch, meaning that it has faxing, printing, copying and computers. Chromebooks are available for use inside the branch and can be reserved just as you would a computer at another branch. You can also request books to be sent to this branch for pick up.
Beginning in September you can drop in for one of two Grow a Reader Classes: Mother Goose (age 2 and under) on Tuesdays from 10-10:15am and Alphabet Soup (ages 2-5) from 10-10:30 on Wednesdays. Additional classes and events will be added to the Towne Centre Branch calendar as they determine what interests are, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates on teen gaming on the big screen TV and adult programs to come!
