Holiday Celebration Blast in Stafford

Get ready for a day and evening full of fun, festive, and free family-friendly events in Stafford on Saturday December 16th, 2017! This amazing event is brought to our community by The Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center, Embrey Mill, Stafford Fire & Rescue, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department, and Stafford Tourism. The celebration kicks off with the Reindeer Run at 1:00 pm and will last into the evening with the Stafford Christmas parade. So time to put away the scissors and wrapping paper and take a break from the holiday hustle bustle to enjoy the holiday as a family!

The Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center and Embrey Mill will be having the inaugural Frosty 5K & Reindeer Run (1 Miler). Prizes for top 3 runners in both races!

Location:  Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center (1600 Mine Road, Stafford, VA 22554)
Time: Reindeer Run 1:00pm Frosty 5K 1:30pm

*A portion of the proceeds are going to The Fairy Godmother Project, a local non-profit helping families battling pediatric cancer.

**Registration for this race is still OPEN! Register HERE All finishers get a medal that can double as a Christmas ornament. Packet pickup is Thursday/Friday night from 5pm-8pm and on Saturday from 11am-12:30pm. 

Holiday Activities with Stafford Tourism
Location: Embrey Mill Sports Complex (fields 7 & 8) (1600 Mine Road, Stafford, VA 22554)
Time: 2:00pm

Stafford Christmas Parade
Location: Embrey Mill Park (1600 Mine Road, Stafford, 22554)
Time: Parade will begin at 5:00pm at the end of the 4 lane Mine Rd. Parade will finish at Embrey Mills Park.
