Disclaimer: Please always double check Facebook or the farm's website before you go. The fields and crops are very weather dependent, so they may close early or not allow picking for a period of time. Most places the strawberries peak Mid-May so check their sites and call for daily updates.

Miller Farms has a large strawberry patch across the road from their market. $3.50/lb for pick your own $6/qt pre-picked.
The Blueberry Patch is still open. The blueberries are not as plentiful as they were, but there are still blueberries there to pick. They have replanted many of the Blueberry Plants this past winter. The older bushes in the patch are now full of BLUEBERRIES and ready for picking. Blueberries are $5.00/lb for U-pick and $5.00/pint pre-picked. Come early and beat the heat. They are located in the little red hut, in front of the white house, that is located across the road from the Market.
Free Parking, Free Admission, Free Fresh Air! (Containers provided for both) The kitchen is open with strawberry smoothies, sundaes, hand dipped cones and more The strawberry fields are open from 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday. Westmoreland Berry Farm's strawberries are ready for picking! Currently the market hours are Wednesday - Sunday 10 am - 5 pm. Take advantage of the goats, the market and tractor rides while you are out there. You can find more details on their Facebook.

Braehead Farm is close by. Their Pick-Your-Own Strawberries are currently ready to harvest! They also have fresh produce (asparagus currently in season), canned goods, baked goods and fresh local dairy products on sale in their market open daily 9-6. They also offer a play area for the kids. It's $5 per person, per visit or you can buy a season pass for $20 per person. Kids 2 and under are free. You can find out more about the play area HERE. Messick Farm Market has strawberries that are ripe and ready to be picked! Enjoy an afternoon at this family-run farm, grab some ice cream to go along with all those strawberries, too. Great Country Farms is open daily from 10AM-5PM! The strawberries should be ready to pick the 3rd week of May. In the meantime, go for some fun on the farm and burn off some energy on the Giant Jumping Pillow. Farm Market & Play Area Open Daily 10 am-5 pm. May 26-28th be sure to include Snead's Asparagus Festival in your Memorial Day Weekend plans. This is an annual tradition at Snead’s Farm. The Well at Snead’s Farm farm-to-table restaurant will be open, serving delicious asparagus, strawberry and sugar snap pea dishes made by the great folks at The Sunken Well Tavern. We will also have locally brewed beers made with ingredients grown right here on the farm!
